PARK IT! DOWNTOWN

DOWNTOWN STILLWATER PARKING VALIDATION PROGRAM

The parking validation program is offered by Stillwater’s Business Improvement District #1 with the cooperation of the City of Stillwater. The purpose of the program is to allow customers in the District to freely conduct business without a penalty for overtime parking.

HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS
1. Each business will designate no more than two employees per business to validate overtime parking tickets. These employees’ names and signatures will be registered with Stillwater’s Business Improvement District #1 and the Court Clerk in the manner designated. Should the designated person(s) change the business is responsible for contacting the BID Coordinator and the Court clerk to change the names and signatures.

2. Each business owner/manager will be provided with a master sheet of parking validations that can be copied. It is the owner/managers responsibility to copy the validations for their use. Each owner/manager is responsible to ensure the program is not abused.

3. Each validation must contain the name of the business, the date, and a designated employee’s signature. These must be legible for the validation to be honored.

4. The validation is then placed in the parking ticket, and the parking ticket is placed in a drop box within 48hours. PLEASE DO THESE TIMELY, IF THE COURT CLERK DOES NOT RECEIVE THE VALIDATION IN A TIMELY MANNER YOUR CUSTOMER WILL RECEIVE A NOTICE OF AN UNPAID PARKING TICKET.

5. Should you have a question or concern contact the BID Coordinator or the City of Stillwater Court Clerk.

RULES OF THE PROGRAM

1. This parking validation program is not available to owners or employees of a business. Any validations received by the Court Clerk that are those of an employee or owner/manager will not be honored.
